Trail Etiquette: Keep It Fun for Everyone

We want everyone to have a safe and awesome time out there — so here are a few friendly reminders to keep things rolling smoothly:

  • Stick to the right and cruise in your lane. Be kind and share the path!
  • Pass on the left, and make sure it’s safe before going around. Yield to anyone coming the other way.
  • Bikes always yield to pedestrians — even if they’re taking their sweet time.
  • Give a heads-up when passing! Call out a friendly “On your left!”
  • Stay on the trail — the land around it is private, and we want to keep things respectful.
  • No shortcuts through private property — even if it looks like a cool detour.
  • Pack it in, pack it out. Let’s keep our trails beautiful. Take your trash and recyclables with you.

Road Safety: When the Trail Meets the Street

  • Obey stop signs and signals just like you would in a car.
  • Look both ways before crossing any road — even if it seems quiet.
  • Ride in the same direction as traffic when you're on a street.
  • Use hand signals to show when you're turning or stopping.
  • Be visible. If you’re riding near cars, turn on your lights and wear bright colors if possible.
  • Keep both hands on the handlebars when riding near traffic — and stay alert.
  • Dismount and walk your bike across busy intersections if you’re unsure.

RadRunner 3 Plus Safety Tips

Our bikes are powerful, fun, and super smooth — but a few smart habits can make your ride even better:

  • Ease into the throttle. It’s tempting to zoom, but start slow and get used to the feel, especially if it’s your first ride.
  • Use both brakes. The front (left) and rear (right) brakes work best together. Squeeze gently and evenly for smooth stops.
  • Practice turns and stops in an open area before hitting the road, especially if you’re carrying a passenger or gear.
  • Watch your weight distribution. Cargo or passengers in the back can affect balance — ride steady and avoid sudden moves.
  • Be cautious on gravel or wet surfaces. The fat tires help, but slowing down and staying upright is always the best bet.
  • Use the kickstand on level ground only. It's sturdy, but the bike can tip if parked on a slope or soft surface.
  • Don't ride with more than one adult. The RadRunner 3 Plus is built for one adult rider and one small passenger (child) max.
  • Turn off the bike when parked. Avoid accidental throttle twists when you’re standing next to it.
  • Keep fingers clear of the chain and motor area. Especially if kids are nearby or curious!
